Moravian Historical Society
Hands-On History Camp
Thank you for making our 2024
Hands-On History Camps a success!
See you next summer!

The Moravian Historical Society hosts its popular Hands-On History camp on our historic site. Students 8 to 12 years old (by the start of camp) can kick off their summer vacation immersed in history!

This year's theme was "Camp Colonial." Inspired by the objects in our museum collection, camp activities explored colonial life, music, crafts, and games. Campers had the opportunity to learn from scholars and professionals with expertise in their field, practice colonial crafts like tinsmithing and garden planting, play colonial games, and much more.

Check back for information on 2025 camps!
Camp runs Monday through Friday, 10 am to 2 pm
"My kids had a fantastic time and came home every day with nothing but praise for everything they did."
