Moravian Historical Society
18th Annual Share the Heritage Gala

2025 STH logo.png

The 18th Annual Share the Heritage Gala will take place on Saturday, April 5, 2025 at the Northampton Country Club. The annual Gala is the Museum’s primary fundraiser, raising vital funds for all operations, including exhibitions, programs for children and adults, and the preservation of the historic site. The Gala will feature cocktails, dinner, live music throughout the evening, and both a silent and live auction.

This year, the Moravian Historical Society is pleased to honor Charlene Donchez Mowers with the annual Heritage Award. Charlene Donchez Mowers dedicated more than two decades of work that culminated in July 2024 when Bethlehem became one of four Moravian church settlements inscribed together as a UNESCO transnational World Heritage Site. The World Heritage Site list identifies cultural and natural places that deserve to be protected, preserved, and made available for future generations to enjoy. The 2024 inscription resulted from an international effort with support from national, regional, and local authorities. Charlene Donchez Mowers, as president of Historic Bethlehem Museums and Sites (until 2022), led Bethlehem’s long effort to make this dream a reality.

The Moravian Historical Society's 17th Annual Gala Dinner & Auction was full of fun, music, and wonderful support from our community as we celebrated Christian Frederick Martin IV with the annual Heritage Award.
